ABOUT

Originally called Pandemic Pantry, the founding members of PanPan came together at the beginning of the Philly’s stay-at-home order in March 2020. As global supply chains were going haywire, we decided to organize purchases of local produce, bread, dairy and other staple items to feed ourselves while avoiding supermarkets.

PanPan started as a labor of love with 3 simple goals - accessing fresh high quality food, supporting local farms and food producers, and maintaining social distance. Today PanPan has over 400 members who come for the food and stay for the vibrant community space we’ve created together.

PanPan is a project of Third Wheel Cheese, which operates a wholesale distribution business of local and regional artisan cheese, and a cut-to-order cheese shop. Third Wheel covers the overhead of the warehouse, making it possible for PanPan to keep its prices low. Love PanPan? Support Third Wheel Cheese!
